My analytics inform me that somebody from Ireland is consistently reading these essays. This is curious to me, because, as far as I know, I don’t have any friends who live in Ireland. That means that, unless this geographic marker is due to a VPN or some internet routing quirk, my readership is not limited to those who personally know me. What a happy thought! (Or perhaps I’ve just lost track of one of my international friends…)
